Extract PDF Pages

Choose specific pages from a PDF and save them as a separate document. The selected pages remain in their original order.

How to extract pages from a PDF

  1. Select a PDF file from your device.
  2. Check each page you want to keep in the new document. Use Select all or Clear to change the selection quickly.
  3. Select Extract selected pages, then download the new PDF after the page count is verified.

The page numbers shown in the tool refer to the PDF's physical page order. For example, selecting pages 2, 4 and 7 creates a new file containing those three pages in that same order. Pages you do not select are left out of the extracted copy.

Private, browser-based PDF extraction

Your PDF is processed locally in this browser. The document is not uploaded to our application server, and the original file is not modified. The tool creates a new PDF from the pages you select and checks that the resulting document contains the expected number of pages before enabling its download.

Password-protected, damaged or unusually complex PDFs may not open. Large documents can use significant memory on your device; keep this page open until processing finishes. This tool extracts pages and does not perform OCR or edit the text inside a PDF.

When extracting pages is useful

Use page extraction when you need to share only a chapter, save selected application forms, separate a few receipts, or pull a set of pages out of a longer report. If you need to remove unwanted pages while keeping the rest, use Remove PDF Pages instead. If you need to make multiple separate files based on ranges, use Split PDF.
