Text to PDF

Turn typed or pasted text into a downloadable PDF. Adjust the page size, font size and margins, then create a document with automatic page breaks.

0 characters

Line breaks and paragraphs are retained. Supports up to 200,000 characters, with broad Unicode font coverage and colour emoji for common sequences.

Text is processed locally in your browser; it is not uploaded to our server.

How to convert text to PDF

  1. Type or paste your content into the text box. Add a document title if you want one.
  2. Choose A4 or US Letter paper, a font size and page margins.
  3. Set the download filename, then select Create and download PDF.
  4. Open the downloaded PDF and check the page breaks before sharing or printing it.

Paragraph breaks are retained, long lines wrap to fit the page, and long documents continue onto additional pages automatically. A page number is added to each page.

What can you use Text to PDF for?

Create simple notes, meeting minutes, study summaries, plain-text letters, checklists and other text-based documents. This tool is intended for text rather than complex page design. It does not currently add images, tables, headers and footers that you design yourself, or rich text formatting such as custom colours and multiple font families.

The generator uses bundled Unicode-capable fonts and can render many common symbols and emojis. Glyph coverage still depends on the character and emoji sequence; some rare scripts, symbols or emoji combinations may not be available. Check the downloaded PDF, especially when using uncommon characters or complex emoji.

Privacy and file handling

Text to PDF runs in your browser using local PDF generation. The text you enter is not uploaded to our application server. Avoid entering sensitive information on a shared or untrusted device, and remember that the downloaded PDF will contain the text you provided.

This tool creates a basic text document, not a full desktop-publishing layout. Review the downloaded file to confirm the content, page breaks and spelling before using it as a final document.
